Charles William Pavey II was born May 13, 1906 to father Charles William Pavey and mother Emma Metzger Pavey A graduate of Columbus North High School, Pavey received a Bachelor of Science from Ohio State in 1926. He promptly followed that with a medical degree from the class of 1928. At the time of his death he was the youngest man to ever graduate from The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
